Abstract:
In this article we present a reflection on the process of visibility and recognition of rights for Romani peoples in Brazil from ethnographic cases with the calon of Minas Gerais. It is intended to show that the recognition of romanies as traditional peoples and communities gave meaning to practical demands of romanies, especially in relation to territorial rights, which represents unprecedented achieve for the romani peoples in Brazil.
