Abstract
Suriname is a country rich in geopolitical, economic, and cultural significance. This country was chosen for this study due to the migratory flows originating from the Brazilian Amazon, particularly from Belém to Surinamese territory. This research approaches categories of differentiation including gender, race, ethnicity, class, sexuality, origin, and place. The study examines the diversity of experiences, mobilities, displacements, and migration patterns of women and men, analyzing their different perspectives through intersectional analysis frameworks. One of the central questions of this study is understanding the racialization and sexualization of Amazonian/Brazilian women in mobility contexts.
