COLONNA'S CAPSULAR ARTHROPLASTY MODIFIED TO DOGS: BIOMECHANICAL EVALUATIONIn a first step the Center of Mass of dogs were determined. The methodology consisted of a experimental method, the reaction table, and the analitic method supported by equations of regression. This basic evaluation-offered parameters for a kinematic study of the gait of the dogs in a second step. The dogs were submitted to capsular arthroplasty of the hip joint. The kinematic study, compared to clinical evaluation demonstrated to be an objective method for evaluation of alterations in the locomotion.
