This article contains all the methods for pré-natal diagnosis of genetic and chromosomal abnormalities, as well infectious diseases in pregnancy. The author discuss the difference among them and the new tools of molecular biology applied in these diagnoses. At the end there is a description of the technique of pre-implantation diagnosis and its use in vitro fertility laboratories distant as long as 2000 kilometers one from the other.
