This article presents a comprehensive view of the risk and protective factors complexity to drug use in adolescence. Discusses the interdependence of various contexts - individual, familiar, school, peer group, midia and community - favourable either to risk or protection of licit and illicit drug use, providing, finally, some prevention strategies.
