Mapping of Actions and Oratory of Fighting Racial Inequality in Brazil

This article relates the main conclusions of a "Mapping of Actions and Oratory on Fighting Racial Inequality in Brazil" survey which was undertaken to detect, become familiar with and analyze experiments that intend to assist strategies for combating racial inequality in Brazil. The data shown here trace a picture, within a certain space of time, of a dynamic reality where many players invent new paths with whose nature we are still not familiar. They show "the state of the art" of initiatives taken to fight racial inequality in Brazil, such as that verified on the eve of the World Conference against Racism held in Durban, South Africa, in September 2001.
