Scientific exchange

It is impossible to write this editorial without remember all the teachers, students, patients and workers with whom I had the privilege to interact in my academic life and to record its importance. I can't think about to talk about the scientific exchange without mention the importance of all this actors involved in the process of teaching. In this way, to them I dedicate this editorial.
The scientific exchange is here referred as a way to trade information, believe, culture, knowledge and, above of all, translates itself in professional support.
It was believed that, with the world wide web of computers, the scientific exchange would win a powerful allied. And this prophecy became true. Nowadays we had the facility of to develop scientifics' projects with practically all the countries in the world. It was thinking also about the so dreamed approximation among the academic, service and community. In this way, I ask: Why does this not happen yet in an easy way? Which are the obstacles to the development of the researches of common knowledge with the effective participation of the involved ones? The answers to these questions could be in our subconscious and insist in not to be revealed.
Initiatives are identified in this way, but they appeared to not reach yet the optimized point of integration. I want to cite as example the politics of the Permanent Education Pole, that brings perspective to carry on this integration, but seems not been able to advanced in the expected way.
We need to work with our graduation's students with the purpose of to try to make smaller this distance, always inserting the service and community in our projects of research. I refer here to the insertion of these segments in all the phases of the project: elaboration, data collection, analysis of data and implementation of the founds. Impossible? Maybe, but the participation could be in many ways, in wich only who wants can see. It is worth to invest!
This number of the Anna Nery School Journal of Nursing brings to us articles that describes with perfection the scientific exchange here mentioned. Periodics as this Journal take to the academic community of nursing and similar fields important information and, mostly, has the function of to promotes the scientific exchange. I stand out here the brilliant effort of the whole staff in the way to assure the final product.
The articles here published are placed: in the Nursing extra-hospitalar-state of alert in the fire department. And hospitalar-leisure, infectious-disease control; in the questions that involves the worker of nursing, including the occupational health and the work in health; in the adolescent health and woman health, during the pregnant-puerperal circle and after it. In other way, other articles are about the History of Nursing, the public politics in the health sector; the clients of nursing that had motor limitations; the resilience; the Nursing the origin of Nutrition; the paralanguage of surgical patient and the vaccination.
I'm sure that these subjects will arouse the interest of our nurse's colleagues and hope that they motivates the appearance of others articles that will reveal the scientific exchange in its wide way here discussed.
