Study about the prenatal assistance through the Program Health of the Family, with objective to describe the actions of the Nurse in the attention to the prenatal. Was put into practice a revision of the literature about the dimensions of the nursing assistance inserted in the health of the woman. The results that was found, point to a multidimensionality of the performance of the nurse, being distinguished, beyond the technique performance, the interaction promoted by the nurse between the pregnant women and others members of the team and the propitiator shelter of the establishment of reliable bond and credibility on the part of the pregnant women and consequence adhesion to the prenatal.
