Collaborative critical action research: the search for epistemology

This paper aims at discussing frequent questions asked by researchers who seek collaborative critical action research as the theoretical-methodological basis for their studies. It takes place in the education social setting and is based on theories by Barbier, Santos, and Morin to question the nature of knowledge and its constituent results. The investigation understands the collaborative critical action research as an investigative, epistemological, and political approach to produce knowledge for educating in the difference and as a support to teacher's education. It discusses the design of the research question, the constitution of the collective researcher, and the implications and results in action research.
