PRODUCTION ON HISTORY OF SPECIAL EDUCATION IN THE CONGRESSOS BRASILEIROS DE HISTÓRIA DA EDUCAÇÃO (CBHE): A PLACE IN CONSTRUCTION

ABSTRACT:

This text is a review that undertakes a bibliographical balance on the work of Special Education History published in the annals of the Congresso Brasileiro de História da Educação (CBHE), from 2000 to 2015. In this balance, based in the bibliographical and documentary research methodology, the texts identified with such approach are classified into thematic and methodological categories. In addition, one analyze the types of sources, temporal cuts and theoretical and adopted epistemological frameworks. It appears that research on Special Education of History presented in the issues of CBHEs is still meager, claiming a greater rapprochement between the fields of History of Education and Special Education, once Special Education of History is the hybridism of these two fields, whose articulation can bring more support and motivation to the historiography of Brazilian Special Education.
