Abstract
The present paper aims to understand the practices and the production of knowledge by black women and men intellectuals who are in the Núcleos de Estudos Afro-Brasileiros. Interviews were carried out with eight black men and women intellectuals linked to federal institutions of higher education in the southeast region of Brazil. The analysis of two productions from each participant was also performed. The results of the research point to practices of antiracism struggle and theoretical productions protagonist in remembering both black people and black collectivities.
