University, training and work: overcoming a corporative view

University, training and work are discussed on the perspective of interdependence of settings and processes, and, as such, constitute a complex theme, especially in times of structural changes, of nowadays. At the center of this issue, once more, there is the university playing different roles, not allways based on consistent scientific, political and social grounds. In that context, training - reason for an increasing demand on university - is not at a comfortable situation, whether in the face of graduates, or in the market. At the basis of this discomfort are the organization and management of courses, the training processes and the market pressures. If on the one hand a corporative view minimizes the university and the training to the demand of market, on the other, mediated by the cooperative dialogue, it is a feasible alternative and even an overcome to the current training model.
