The aim of this article is first, pointing to the importance of the "strenght" and "nature" notions in Freud's work and their implications to the civilization and the morals. In some way, pointing to the importance of biology in the civilization process, even about the prerrogatives of specie as of the individual. And secondly, pointing to the change occurred in these questions with the introduction of the "Eros" concept. Favoring the presentation of two texts for our purpose: "Project of Psychology" [1895] and "Civilization and its Discontents" (1930 [1929]).
