Literature and process drama: (re)creating possibilities

ABSTRACT

This article proposes the interface between the fields of reading and theater, in order to focus the presence of literature in theatrical pedagogical processes, specifically its approach to process drama. The discussion is conduced based on some experiences accomplished during the Methodology of Theater Teaching II Course in an Undergraduate Program in Theater of Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina, pointing out possibilities of transposition of literary texts to drama structures. The work with the texts is based on the proposal called reading and theatricality (VIDOR, 2016VIDOR, H. B. Leitura e teatro: aproximação e apropriação do texto literário. São Paulo: Hucitec , 2016.). As a result of the work, the structures written by students in the form of "creation exercises" are presented.
