Argentine university trends (2003-2015)

ABSTRACT

In this work we address the university field during the last twelve years of continuity of a Peronist political party, from 2003 to 2015. In turn, this period covers the three governmental mandates of Néstor Kirchner and Cristina F. de Kirchner and their main quantitative trends emerging from an unusual political-party continuity. For this reason, the article aims to articulate the dimensions of the transformation of higher education in democracy, emphasizing the policies of expansion, democratization and feminization during the last twelve years in the light of global universalization of higher education.
