ABSTRACT
The following text has as objective to analyze the Programa Incluir - Acessibilidade na Educação Superior as a strategy of permanence of people with deficiency in superior education. The Programa Incluir was created in 2005 and has the “[...] objective to promote actions to eliminate physical, pedagogic and communicational barriers, to assure the access and the permanence of people with deficiency in the Federal Institutions of Superior Education (IFEs)” (BRAZIL, 2013). The methodology used in the text was a documental and bibliographic analysis. The analyzed data indicates that the Programa Incluir has been being one of the possibilities to favorize the permanence of students, target public of special education, developing their studies in the superior education.
