Inclusion as a process for the education: experience of all kids included in a Cuban university educator’s

ABSTRACT:

The paper analyses a comprehensive experience on Higher Education in Cuba considering different aspects. From the theoretical point of view, the conception of inclusion that supports educational practices and the population receiving special assistance to attendance, retention and graduation from universities, not only from those having some kind of disability. In the methodological order, alternatives that support inclusion processes are included. From the practical approach, it briefly characterizes the University of Holguin and it exposes achieved results, stating teaching procedures that are sustainable in the context of Cuban society. Several sources are used such as: results of a research project, documents on educational groups and individual’s life records.
