The State of Espírito Santo, due to the great production and exportation of dimension stones, has a lot of problems for the disposition of generated residues in the production processes of these stones as much the residues of larger dimension as the one of smaller dimension. These residues, placed in an inadequate way, can cause environmental damages. This work aimed to develop new projects using residues generated in the production of dimension stones. The methodology was (i) diagnosis of the quarry by visits and questionnaire application; (ii) analysis of the accomplished diagnosis; (iii) development of projects for new products; (iv) study of economical viability. This work suggests alternative uses of the residues with increase in the value of the products developed by the quarry workers.
