Identity, family and social relationships in adolescents from popular groups

Having as a starting point the concept that adolescence is a development process which presents changes in biological, psychological and social aspects, and is a phase which marks an important period of people's life, this study makes a reflection on the identity construction in adolescents from popular groups. It also shows troubles on the conceptions of childhood, family, maternity and paternity as well as the exclusion and violence relationships which have characterized the life of adolescents who belong to the universe of popular groups.
