ABSTRACT

This work had the objective to evaluate the utilization of tannin from Eucalyptus pellita bark to particleboards production by gluing with urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin. The resins were testet second the particleboards properties. The particleboards were produced with UF and UF modifield with 10 % and 20 % of tannin. These results showed to be possible to use the tannin toward gluing of particleboard. The properties of the particleboards are according to the Wood Particleboard Commercial Standart CS-236-66
