The image of hiatus: Budapest and photography

This article presents a comparative analysis between the novel Budapest, by Chico Buarque, and photographic language. Inserted in the interdisciplinary context of Psychology of Art, with literary critique, aesthetic, phenomenological and psychoanalytic references, it intends to examine, from the reading of the novel, the correspondence between Budapest and the photography. In such case, this article attends to the links between the events of the novel and photographic language. In both - the novel and photographic language - it seems to take place a double line according to which reality concomitantly reveals and is revealed
