The rebel's dilemma: persuasion or sectarianism

This article examines the linguistic dilemma of the rebel's rhetoric to overcome sectarianism. An analysis of the concepts and discourses presented in the political communiqués of revolutionary groups in the 1960s and 70s indicates that their publications required and continue to require interpretive inferences that are difficult for the general public to make. This main pragmatic obstacle to contestatory political communication is based on pragmatic theories and documented in various examples.
