EDITOR'S LETTER

Dearest,

Horticultura Brasileira resumes its walk. Our cover in this issue features some of the viruses that challenge the vegetable crops. Read the text of the cover, it's worth!

This is not an ordinary issue of Horticultura Brasileira. We achieved a new mark in articles published in English: nine! Our thanks to the authors who made it possible to Horticultura Brasileira to go one step further. We suggest to those who have not published in English yet to take a look at the publication guidelines (in the end of this issue), item The Publishing Idiom. It is indeed simple to publish in English.

To publish in English is essential to sustain and to broaden the importance Horticultura Brasileira has. Papers published in English are accessible to a much larger public and, therefore, carry the results obtained, author names, and the sound science much beyond, contributing also to raise the Impact Factor of Horticultura Brasileira.

Nevertheless, to publish in English is not enough. Those who trust and value Horticultura Brasileira and, above all, want us to maintain the mounting curve we present since Horticultura Brasileira was created, must continue to privilege Horticultura Brasileira with the very best of their scientific production. Only then, we will have enough breath and muscles to go on, proud of who we are.

When we think about the dissemination of the Brazilian research, academy, and rural extension, in the evaluation of our graduation courses, in the increasingly highlighted position that Brazil is assuming in the world, one can realize how strategic it is to have a journal of international excellence which is ours, in our field, published in Brazil.

We offer a vehicle that we have been working hard to improve more and more: Horticultura Brasileira! Make use of it to go farther.

See you in the next issue,

The Editorial Board
