From the “Gurdo Law” to the “Perón Law”: The constitution of the National Workers University as a university model of peronism

Abstract

The present work will seek to account for the university model constituted by Peronism during its first government (1946-1955) represented in the creation of the National Workers University. In this sense, we will present the university model consolidated with the university reform in Argentina, and then see how Peronism questioned this idea of university through the sanction of Law 13.031/47. Finally, we will analyze how the sanction of the so -called “Perón Law” (13.229/48) through which the aforementioned University is created and its subsequent regulations ends by consolidating what we have called as “Peronist University Model”.
