Intellectuals Conservatives and the struggle for power: Le Bon, Sorel, Action Française and Integralismo Lusitano

ABSTRACT

Intellectuals are group of abundant written production, reflecting the production of political and philosophical projects. Although restricted numerical size, are organized in a complex and fragmented small groups. Specificity sociability relationship and the sharing of political projects are aggregators elements of intellectuals in their different groups. Faced with this problem, the article proposes the analysis of the works and ideas of some conservative intellectuals and / or extreme right, inserted between the late nineteenth century and early twentieth, in order to highlight, through examinations, the different positions between them, although it is considered to understand and be seen as intellectuals, and position themselves in current reactionary towards democracy and liberalism.
