Abstract
This article starts by the identification and selection of criminal lawsuits, busy with investigative procedures about death of certain workers, to show relations construed between the subjects in the criminal investigation. By pointing out the interconnection among between they, we highlighted the historicity of a plot that annotates significant aspects of the emerging industrial action - materialized in the actuations of sawmills, potteries and meatpacking industry - and the presence of workers in these activities. Those relations are highlighted with the interest in discussing social tensions arising in the process of territorial constitution of West of Paraná, undertaken from mid-twentieth century. From the documentation presented, we promote the visualization of inequality and differentiation lived by workers, be they "southerners", "paraguayans" and / or "northerners". An invitation to access this social experience through the ambiguities and confrontations that compose this process
