ABSTRACT
We intend through this analysis to present the potentialities of migration processes in creating collectives identities in the context of peoples’ arrivals. In particular, we tried to observe theoretically the ways ethnicity theories can be applied to interpret some situations under the assumption that economic and social factors influence the creation of identities’ classification. This study was supported by researches on internal migrations in the country, published in theses and dissertations and articles, whose main methodology was oral history, once testimonies are a living source for describing moments and means social categories are exposed.
