Open-access Mosses from the States of Alagoas, Bahia, Pernambuco and Sergipe, Brazil, deposited in the SP herbarium

    In the study of the mosses deposited in the SP herbaria, 223 Bryophyta taxa were identified for the Brazilian States of Alagoas, Bahia, Pernambuco and Sergipe. The taxa are distributed into 97 genera and 38 families. Out of these, 86 are new records. Daltonia pulvinata Mitt., Eccremidium exiguum (Hook. f. & Wilson) Wilson ex Salm. and Ephemerum capense Müll. Hal. are new records for Brazil.
