Health management: nexuses between institutional daily routine and political participation in SUS

This is an essay on the topic of management within the field of public health. It raises questions about the challenges inherent to the construction of democratic forms of management in SUS. The path followed in this conceptual field is analyzed, emphasizing the tendency towards normative centralization that characterizes it. Starting from the reconfiguration of work within the contemporary world through the emergence of new technologies for information and communication, the authors reflect on the new institutional configurations derived from this. There is a need to rethink co- management within the scope of healthcare institutions, as a passage from practices of work organization and control to the level of interlinking in a network of activities for healthcare production.
