Brazilian family farmers’ perception on their livelihoods

This paper presents the Brazilian family farmers’ perception on their livelihoods based on interviews carried out with 10.362 farmers all over the country. The results reveals a positive perception family farmers have on their in-farm conditions for production (including land and labor availability) and a negative perception on their performance out of the farm (including access to public policies, markets and social relationships).
