Abstract:
This article analyzes the role of the indigenous school in the valorization/revitalization of food culture in the Rio das Cobras Indigenous Land in Nova Laranjeiras, PR. A qualitative research was carried out in five Kaingang schools, through a semi-structured interview and verification of the school menu. Schools perpetuate in the daily life of students, environments that promote the acculturation and globalization of eating habits, without worrying about the maintenance of their culture.
