This paper aims to develop the following propositions: 1) In the youthful writings, the issue of exteriority of nature has been already thought by Hegel as an attribute of what is natural, and will be developed more consistently in the later works, especially in the Encyclopedia with the formulation of the concept of nature as the "idea in the form of otherness (Andersseins). 2) This way of understanding nature - according to the point of view of "otherness" -will serve as a reference to the relations of domination in the political field, in which traces of naturalness remain under the paradigm of the dialectic of master and slave of nature, typical trait of Natural Law doctrine - like that of Hobbes. 3) The coercion as violence or the legitimate subjugation put into practice against what contains the element of externality of nature is compatible with the essential determination of the nature, and indicates the initial condition of the men as natural being (Naturwesen), which can be coerced.
