This article analyses the question of democracy in Schmitt's work. For this purpose, it reviews his concept of political form which includes identity and representation. After presenting a fundamental distinction to the notion of democracy, some consequences are derived from contrast to Schmitt's ideas. The representation and the identity as political form would constitute, consequently, an impossibility for democracy.
