Abstract:
Rodrigo Lacerda's Outra vida is a novel that deals with the crisis of contemporary world. The story is about a couple whose members go through personal problems, and takes place in a big city bus station for just two hours. Time and space are metaphorical in this novel, and represent quite well space and time in contemporary world: inhospitable and overwhelming. In adition, this familiar crisis represents a crisis of global impact in the civilized societies of the twenty-first century.
