In this paper, we attempt to demonstrate the ability to understand and peasant farming practices (agro) ecological through a historical-critical, pluridimensional and relational territorial approach. This design focuses on space-time-territory relation, the plurality of elements and processes effected at different scalar levels. Initially, we present our understanding of agroecology and peasant agriculture, followed by a summary discussion of the aforementioned territorial approach, of course, assumed to study the practices (agro) ecological and work in territorial development projects on a local basis.
