ABSTRACT
Abstract: In this interview, Patrick Le Galès argues that much of the intellectual confusion about governance comes from a poor definition of what is government. The researcher also addresses the importance of comparative research between cities for fostering an understanding about who and what is governed and expands one’s attention to what is not governed.
