ABSTRACT

This paper analyzes the film Son of Saul (László Nemes, 2015O filho de Saul. Direção László Nemes. 2015. 107 minutos. Colorido. Hungria.), focusing on how the leading character relates to death and thinking in the exception situation he is (an extermination camp; member of Sonderkommando). For that, we will highlight, in particular, the camera movements and explore the notions of death/non-death, thought and revolt, from Agamben, Arendt and Camus.
