RESUMO Com a psicanálise, mostramos diferentes planos que articulam subjetividade e política na periferia. Partimos de pesquisa e caso que apresentam superposições e impasses. Uma vez que o sujeito de direitos não corresponde ao homem concreto e o corpo não corresponde à imagem de eu ou ao desejo inconsciente, defendemos a necessidade de operar com todos esses planos. Assim, a noção de subjetividade política permite pensar o em-comum sem redução a codificações dominantes hierarquizadas e alienantes.

ABSTRACT By applying psychoanalysis to the case study, this article brings together the concepts of subjectivity and politics in the periphery and their interactions at multiple levels. As the rights-bearing subject does not correspond to the concrete human being, and the body does not correspond to images of the self or to unconscious desire, it is argued that it is necessary to operate on all these multiple planes simultaneously. Thus, the notion of political subjectivity allows us to think about communality without reducing it to dominant, hierarchical, and alienating codifications.

RESUMO O artigo reúne resultados de dois projetos que procuram compreender as subjetividades de docentes da periferia da cidade de São Paulo. Ao articular os constructos “subjetividade social” e “representações sociais”, buscou-se apresentar contribuições ao debate sobre “políticas de subjetividade”. Os dados, produzidos por meio da metodologia Q e de grupos focais, confirmam o agravamento do mal-estar docente, figurando o tempo de docência como variável de destaque.

ABSTRACT The paper brings together the results of two projects in order to present a debate on teacher’s subjectivities at the urban peripheries of São Paulo. It articulates the concepts of social subjectivity and social representations to contribute to understandings of “subjectivity policies”. Data were produced using Q-Methodology and focus groups. The hypothesis of the aggravation of the teaching ill-being was confirmed. Teaching time was a prominent variable.

RESUMO Partindo de uma reflexão sobre a articulação entre religião, política e cultura, este artigo propõe uma análise da relação entre o pentecostalismo e as periferias urbanas do Rio de Janeiro por meio da trajetória de um sambista gospel. O artigo apoia-se na centralidade da relação entre as periferias urbanas e a música gospel para se pensar a formação de subjetividades periféricas, suas moralidades e práticas artísticas e culturais.

ABSTRACT Reflecting on the intersections between religion, politics, and culture, this article proposes analytics of the relationship between Pentecostalism and the urban peripheries of Rio de Janeiro. It draws on the trajectory of one gospel samba musician. The article foregrounds the relationship between urban peripheries and gospel music to think about the formation of peripheral subjectivities, their moralities, and artistic and cultural practices.

RESUMO Nosso estudo examina como a circulação pela geografia urbana da cidade de Recife influenciou as percepções de motoristas de uber sobre as eleições presidenciais de 2018. Argumentamos que o movimento dos motoristas pela paisagem urbana, buscando conciliar o desejo de agência individual com o desespero sobre as perspectivas de melhoria econômica, complexifica sua compreensão de centro e periferia e dá origem a “subjetividades móveis”.

ABSTRACT Our study examines how Uber drivers’ experiences of urban geography in the city of Recife influenced their reflections on the 2018 presidential elections. We argue that the drivers’ movement through the urban landscape, seeking to reconcile the desire for individual agency with desperation over increasingly dire political and economic prospects, complexifies their understanding of center and periphery and gives rise to “mobile subjectivities”.

RESUMO Este artigo explora a trajetória da Odebrecht em Angola no contexto da relação histórica entre multinacionais e o Estado africano desde a chegada da empresa ao país nos anos 1980 até a crise de 2015. O texto oferece uma perspectiva original sobre as relações entre Estado e multinacionais, relevante para acadêmicos que estudam as relações entre Brasil e África.

ABSTRACT This article explores the trajectory of Odebrecht in Angola between 1980s and 2015. It draws on the premise that colonial and post-colonial leaders instrumentalize multinationals in order to meet their domestic goals. The article offers an original perspective on relations between the State and multinational corporations that is relevant to academic studies on the relations between Brazil and Africa.

RESUMO O artigo baseia-se nos dados do perfil sociodemográfico dos magistrados brasileiros, realizado pelo Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ) em 2018, e na nota técnica sobre a Justiça Federal, produzida pela Comissão Mulheres da Associação dos Juízes Federais do Brasil (Ajufe) em 2019, para dialogar com estudos sobre a participação feminina na magistratura. O argumento é que o contraste de gênero no mundo profissional é construído por meio da distribuição desigual de privilégios e desvantagens a partir de um viés implícito. Este favorece o percurso dos homens em um ambiente receptivo e cria dificuldades para as mulheres, que precisam se ajustar ao espaço.

ABSTRACT The article is based on data from the Brazilian Judges’ sociodemographic profile, conducted by CNJ in 2018, and the Federal Justice Commission Survey conducted by the Ajufe Women Commission in 2019, to dialogue with studies on women’s participation in the Judiciary. The argument is that gender contrast in the professional world is built through the unequal distribution of privileges and disadvantages from an implicit bias. This favors the path of men in a receptive environment and creates difficulties for women who need to adjust to that space.

RESUMO Em 1982, a Unesco realizou, na Cidade do México, a Mondiacult, uma importante conferência sobre políticas culturais envolvendo quase todos os seus Estados-membros. O foco de análise deste artigo é a elaboração de um de seus documentos de base - a “ordem do dia” -, que produziu uma espécie de etnografia institucional a partir dos usos das ideias de cultura e de políticas culturais.

ABSTRACT In 1982, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) held in Mexico City the Mondiacult, an important cultural policy conference involving almost all its member states. The focus of this article is an analysis of the elaboration of one of its basic documents - the “agenda”, or the ordre du jour - producing an institutional ethnography based on the uses of notions of cultural and of cultural policies.

RESUMO O artigo pretende examinar O som ao redor (2012), de Kleber Mendonça Filho, explorando sociológica e imageticamente as continuidades e descontinuidades entre o filme e a obra Casa-grande & senzala, de Gilberto Freyre. Se O som ao redor é uma alegoria sobre a interpretação do Brasil proposta por Gilberto Freyre, é, sobretudo, uma alegoria fantasmática que, em sua narrativa imagética, assombra as proposições freyria­nas sobre a sociedade brasileira.

ABSTRACT The article examines Neighboring Sounds (2012), by Kleber Mendonça Filho, and explores, sociologically and imagetically, the continuities and discontinuities between the film and the book The Masters and the Slaves, by Gilberto Freyre. If Neighboring Sounds is an allegory about the interpretation of Brazil proposed by Gilberto Freyre, it is, above all, a phantasmagorical allegory that, in its imagistic narrative, questions the propositions of Freyre about Brazilian society.
