About the rethoric of the exclusion: the incidence of the ideological discourse in support services offered to psychotics

Brazil is going through a vigorous process of psychiatric reform. Pressed by the Movement of Mental Health Workers, the Health Ministry decided as one of its action to favour the social inclusion of mentally disabled people in Brazil.. According to the proposal made by the supporters of the psychiatric reform, the treatment should emphasize the negation of mental hospital logic , through a policy of benefits and the participation in social movements. In this article we examine some of its clinical inflexions. We try to show how the effect of circulation of speeches can open significant areas where some ways of comprehension and socialization are stimulated more than others. We reason that rhetoric, based on the opposition between inclusion and exclusion, can be thought in its double clinic and ideological incidence.
