However, the study of the influence of affective development over distributive justice has not constituted a concern of the researchers. Looking for to fill this gap, the main objective of this research was to investigate if empathy influenced the distributive decisions of 107 participants. Distributive justice was evaluated through a problem-situation that involved an organizational context, and the empathy by means of Escala Multidimensional de Reatividade Interpessoal - EMRI. In the results, it was observed that the affective dimensions of empathy had influenced the money distribution between the characters of the problem-situation. These results had been discussed in the light of Piaget's and Hoffman's theories, and data of previous research.
