This article aims to present and some reflections on the process of anorexia disorder, some possible explanations to it, and to develop a possible answer from the psychoanalytic perspective. This study describes human suffering as the expression of an unconscious relation between some affect equations and particular social frame in which individual develops. It is discussed the particular relation that is established between necessity, demand and desire. It is also considered the impact that cultural pressure brings in maintaining anorexia symptoms, due to the importance of sliminess and beauty ideals, also related to obtain more success and happiness. Finally, it is considered the value of personality analysis related to social issues on considering anorexia disorder, which has to be taken singularly, beyond it signs and the possible limitation to hysteria structure.
