Abstract
The Interlocution Group (GI) is approached as a technique for producing, analyzing and systematizing data in research on education, based on historical research, which has resumed the genesis of this technique. Regarding the theoretical and procedural perspective, the analytical approach of the movements of meaning and study was applied. Documentary analysis and Interlocution Group were carried out to study similarities and differences, advances and challenges encountered by the researchers in the application of the technique between 2006 and 2017. Eleven researchers in the area of Education participated in the research. It is thought to have contributed to indicate how praxical this technique is by allowing interlocutors and researchers to produce meanings together in an interactive process of researching on educational phenomena.
