The method of research adopted were an analytic, systematic and critical review of concepts, theories and approaches about social and psychic aspects of the relation between suffering and work. The results confirm that this is a serious and urgent question and indicates that the Social Suffering is a societal ontological phenomenon operating at two simultaneous linked dimensions: collective (social) and individual (intra-psychic).
