The psychologist in the intervention process of the national policy of humanization

As a way to give effect to the principles, basis and guidelines proposed by SUS in the daily practices of care and management, in 2003 the Brazilian Ministry of Health created the National Policy of Humanization. Whereas advocating this policy, this paper aims to problematize the place of the psychologist in the management of a public hospital in Brasilia. It discusses the importance of the psychologist's education, which must be guided in a theoretical framework allowing the practice as more committed to the institutions/organizations of public health contextualized culturally, socially, politically and economically with the reality of our population.
