Garbage, human conduct and management of the unbearable

Garbage, as unbearable experience of urban life that agglutinate putrid, worthless and of society waste materials, is reflected, from the genealogical method based on studies of Michel Foucault, in the analysis of the forms of problematization about the conditions of existence of the modern subject. Two major forms of assemblage of discourses and practices are presented allies the modes of governance of conduct. In the first, the waste form is composed of debris, rotting and useless materials, whose practices, formerly scattered in the field of real, are organized according to the medical-social rationality. Second, the residue form in turn registers a new field of visibility on the remains, supported by the set of ecological social practices and discourses that circumscribe as an object of public policy and therefore governmentality such as, the concepts of recycling, social inclusion and preservation of natural resources.
