BODIES MEETING BODIES AND INCORPOREAL EFFECTS: ARTICULATIONS BETWEEN LANGUAGE AND EXTRALINGUISTIC CONTEXT

Abstract

In this paper we approach texts produced as an effect of the inauguration of a University Restaurant (a canteen?) in a public university of Rio de Janeiro, when there was a clash between central administration and students. To achieve our purpose, we discuss different ways of conceiving the articulation between linguistic and non-linguistic domains, refusing the point of view that presupposes the anteriority of the latter over the former. Our theoretical framework draws from Deleuze's position on the relationship between corporeal and incorporeal events, an issue that highlights a reflection on time and on the dynamic coengenderings between language and world.
