POLITICAL AND DRAMATIC SUBJECTIVITY: CHANGES LIVED BY A MILITANT OF MST

The article explores the dynamics of the relationship between the different roles played by a woman in her involvement with a rural social movement and searches to understand the meanings and senses that she attributes to this process. From the contributions of cultural-historical psychology and Gramscian concepts, the political praxis of this militant is discussed focusing on the processes of change in her subjective drama. The empirical corpus was constructed through two interviews with the research participant. From the analysis of the material, we argue that the political praxis must be understood as a process in constant motion and transformation, related to multiple roles and different dimensions: social and personal, objective and subjective, cognitive and affective. From this perspective, drama and politics are not only related, but interpenetrated; the dramatic subjectivity is also political.

subjectivity; social movement; political praxis.
