Psychology and public security: invention of other machines of war

The article discusses the entry of 'professional psy' in the field of public security. For this study we examine key definitions of social control, seeking to link the escalation of insecurity with the advent of the new social order proposed by the neoliberal model, and the reissue of positivist criminology proposals that support policies designed to curb thephenomenon of crime. It also gathers three analyzers, the 'caveirão', search warrants, and the collective case of resistance, which precipitated a balance of power that strengthens the criminalization of poverty and the adoption of extermination as an official policy of public security. With the prospect of exposing the "make-psychological," puts in question the construction of 'war machines' and the introduction of processes of singularity.
