Environmental psychology and environmental policy: strategies for the construction of the future

To the author, Environmental Psychology can contribute to the definition and concretization of an environmental policy, helping to establish contextualized objectives and stimulating community participation. The knowledge provided by it opens possibilities so that the construction of the future welcomes both stability and diversity. Environmental Psychology must develop in such a way that it becomes more pragmatic, and theoretical constructs like place must be encouraged.
