This paper deals with the problem of diagnosis in psychoanalysis, psychiatry and psychology. The question of diagnosis is discussed through psychoanalytical concepts. There is no diagnosis without patient’s demands and it cannot be understood apart from physician-patient relationship. It further inquires clinical consequences of the psychotropic abuse.
